I know that fall is just around the corner — not because it's getting cooler outside — but because we're getting our first glimpse at the Harbor Nights La Dolce Vita menu! This year's popular autumn event will take place on Friday, October 21st, 2022 from 6:30pm - 9:00pm in the Harbor Piazza. The Wine Riffs™ dinner series at Universal Orlando's Hard Rock Hotel are starting back up again, after a long hiatus. The popular (and pricey) multi-course experience pairs music, with food, with wine (and room lighting). The colorful and moody lit meal does tend to feature higher end culinary and next tier wines — when compared to other, everyday "signature" restaurants at the various resorts in the Central Florida area. The Harbor Nights Primavera event at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is just over a week away (Friday, April 8th, 2022) — from 6:30pm until 9:00pm. It's not too late to get "VIP Tickets" — there's still a few available, but they will sell out soon. The "Standing Tickets" are usually available right up until 36-hours(ish) before the event starts. It's back! Harbor Nights La Dolce Vita is an amazing one night event over at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel — that hasn't been around for almost 18 months. It's taken a loooong pause because of that pesky airborne virus that took over the world — but now that various restaurants, buffets, and large scale foodie events are gradually being planned again — I couldn't be happier to see Harbor Nights back on the schedule. I've been to three or four of the "Jake's Beer Dinner" events at Loews Royal Pacific Resort now, and each one has been a unique and fun experience. I went to a great little food and beer pairing event last year at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort called Jake's Beer Dinner. Having the opportunity to go to quite a few of the "theme park resort" special events over the course of a year, I found Jake's Beer Dinner to be not only a lot of fun, but a really great value when compared to Disney Resort-based special events.
