Growing up in Florida, our family didn't take vacations to the theme parks much. Instead, we traveled to various destinations throughout the Southeast. Years later, when we talk about our travels, you don't hear things like "I remember that sunset on August 12th, 1982", but we do still reminisce about "those hot apple fritters from this place" and "that place had the best maple glazed trout".  Food can be a powerful memory trigger, and for some reason, it's always better when you're on vacation. With so many choices out there, we hope this site, and the reviews that it contains, will help you find the tastes and places that you'll remember for years to come.
