I mean, can you ever really have enough photos of the beverage counter? Probably not. Sadly, this is only a "free refill" location if you've purchased one of SeaWorld's Free Refill cups — otherwise, they'll charge you for another soda. How? Well to exit this area... you'll have to pass through the register/payment area.

Here's a look at the front entrance of Expedition Cafe from inside the main food ordering and pickup area. When it's really busy, the stations (line poles and chains) over by the yellow wall (right and back) are used and guests must wait in that rather confined area before being allowed into the main food ordering area. A room attendant cast member should be on-hand to keep things in order.

Here's another look at the outdoor seating area at Expedition Cafe. That other door and building on the right is a gift shop. The seating in this area is covered with a sailcloth canopy.

While it's certainly nice to have the place to yourself... lower attendance seems to mean that food is kept under heat lamps more -vs- being made fresh. Our suggestion, is to actually visit during peak dining times. It might be harder to find a seat, but you're more likely to get fresh, hot food.

The park's Funnel Cakes used to be made and sold from a window near Voyager's Smokehouse — but they've since been moved into the Sweet Sailin' Candy store.

The front door to Voyager's is actually to the left of the main facade. These double doors will lead you to an area where you can look at the menu and decide if you want to get in line.

Here's a look at the main entrance to the Lakeside Grill Cantina at dusk. It's a little easier to see the outdoor covered patio area on the right of the photo. You can get to the patio from just behind the plants near the front door, and there's another door just past the check-out counter inside Lakeside Grill.

There's also a "dance only" part of the show that features more difficult Irish dance numbers. These are performed with background music rather than a live band.

Oh I know what you're thinking... that red wine au jus is a sloppy mess — but see how it's clinging to the sides of the dish? Those bits are actually starting to caramelize on the side of the bowl because it's so hot when it's delivered to your table — and those caramelized bits are the best. Scrape those off the side with your fork — there's something special about braised beef, lamb, and red wine au jus when it starts to caramelize into a solid.

While this orange juice and Prosecco Mimosa isn't always available, there's usually some version of a Mimosa on the menu. During strawberry season (for example) we've seen a Strawberry Fields Mimosa on the menu.

You might think this broccoli and corn fritter is a new take on a classic fritter, but actually — a "fritter" doesn't have to be in cake or patty form at all. Frittered food is simply food that's made with batter-coated ingredients. As seen in this "Sure I'm Frittered" appetizer at Raglan Road the broccoli and corn meal "haystack straws" have been battered and deep fried.

The main bar is beautiful. I mean, the chairs, the tiles, the liquor cabinets — it's all very authentic looking.

The main "center" dining area at Raglan Road offers the best view of the stage (at the far end of this photo). There's a "dancing table" in the very middle of the room (which is not for guests to sit, or dance on.)

The Irish Soda Bread is offered to the table as a complimentary starter at the dinner period. It's served with a house made Guinness reduction dipping sauce.

Unless you totally know you don't like Shepherd's Pie — Raglan Road's "Shepherd's Pie to Try" is THE dish to get. It's been on the menu for a loooong time — and for good reason. It's an amazing dish that's bursting with savory, cravable, pub flavor.

The "Shepherd's Pie to Try" features braised and pulled beef & lamb with root vegetables in a rich red wine jus with Irish peat smoked mashed potatoes. While most Shepherd's Pie dishes are served in a medium sized baking dish of some type, the Raglan version is served "open sided" so you can get whatever mix of mashed potatoes, meat, and red wine jus that you want in each bite.

The Dublin Delhi Chicken Curry entrée was a seasonal LTO that's not on the "all the time" menu. It featured white chicken cooked in a savory curry sauce and served with yellow rice.

Here's a closer look at the crumble on top of the "Crumble at the Knees" dessert at Raglan Road.

Now, technically speaking... Irish Curry Sauce is darker and has a more complex and bolder flavor than English Curry. However, Irish Chicken Curry is usually made with apples (in addition to all the normal curry sauce ingredients) — therefore, Irish Chicken Curry sauce is a little sweeter than English Curry.

The desserts at Raglan are intended to be personal sized items, but we shared this one — it was just the right amount, especially if you don't typically order desserts.
