If you know Spaceship Earth, once the "ride" part of the attraction is over, guests exit through a hands-on exhibit area where there's a giant globe showing all the locations for where guests at the park are from (as selected earlier on the ride), a 3-D anatomy game, an "energy shuffleboard" style game, etc. — the new lounge is located directly above this space and will have a series of windows that look out toward the "countries" side of the park.
There is a high-dollar dessert party option as well that requires separate booking from just "getting in around the right time and hanging out". This will be a "different" place to watch fireworks from, to be sure – but a "great" place – might be a stretch. The Geo-82 location is quite a distance from the center of the lagoon. The Geo-82 window is roughly the same distance from the center of the lagoon — as is the parking lot of the Contemporary Resort is to Cinderella Castle. My metaphor here is – it's a little like getting VIP box seats at a playoff game vs getting court-side seats... the VIP seat is nice and exclusive, but you're not "really" feeling the game.
