What Does The Food at a Party for the Senses Look Like?
There are many different special events that take place during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, but the "crown jewel" of them all is the Party for the Senses event, that normally takes place on four or five different Saturday nights over the course of the festival. The all-inclusive event combines amazing entertainment with amazing food and many wines, beers and other liquors to sample over the course of two and a half hours. It is an event that I hope everyone has a chance to do at ... ( read more ... )

Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant to Test Breakfast Period for a Limited Time
We just got word that the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Hollywood Studios will be testing out a Breakfast period from November 1st, 2015 until January 23, 2016. So far, only a few menu items have been released, but the offerings sound very similar to the Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast at Sci-Fi that is held during Star Wars Weekends… except (presumably) there won't be any cool Star Wars characters walking around and Star Wars movies won't be playing on the big screen. The food ... ( read more ... )

 Eek... A Mouse!!!
No, it's actually a rat, but he's such a cute little rat. and he's a chef, which is why we have to report this on Mealtrip.com. We've known for a while that Remy would be getting his very own activity for the 20th Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, and now we know what the "giveaway" part of the activity is. Okay, so this is going to be very similar to Epcot's Egg-stravaganza in the Spring. It's a scavenger hunt of sorts, and you have to start your adventure by purchasing a map at the Festival ... New Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party
We just heard about a brand new Halloween dessert party offering at the Magic Kingdom , simply called the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party, that will be offered on select nights… (meaning, on nights that the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is taking place). So you DO need a ticket to the "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" AND a pre-paid reservation to the "Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party" if you would like to attend. Last year, we saw the first "extra special event" that took place ... ( read more ... )

FREE Wine Glass for Disney Annual Passholders at the 20th Annual Food Wine Festival!
Three years ago, when I first started getting those oval "AP" magnets for being a Disney Annual Passholder I thought... "How cool... there's no way I'm putting this on my car, someone will take it". Now though... I have so many oval "AP" magnets, I've considered putting them on other people's cars just to get rid of them. This year however, there's a crazy cool "I almost can't believe it" offer for annual passholders... a FREE Epcot Food & Wine Festival Port Wine Glass!!!That's right... a FREE Glass! ... The Seafire Inn Goes Tex-Mex
The Seafire Inn, located in SeaWorld - Orlando, once played host to the Makahiki Luau and offered not only a memorable evening of entertainment, but a great meal as well. Sadly, those days are long over and the Seafire Inn, it seems, is languishing in thematic limbo. If you've ever performed… anything, on any stage, at any level… you'll feel right at home eating lunch in the shadows of the dark stage. It still holds the promise and allure of any stage, anywhere in the world. The grand ... ( read more ... )

New Longest Restaurant Title Award Goes to
Epcot's "L'artisan des Glaces Ice Cream and Sorbet" has had the proud distinction of having the longest eatery name in all four Disney theme parks in Central Florida... until now. If you remove all the punctuations, the newly announced "Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen" has tied the popular French Ice Cream shop for the "longest name ever" award. If you also remove all the blank spaces... our beloved L'artisan falls to second place by one letter. So sad. However, the abbreviated "Jungle ... ( read more ... )
