The Lobster Risotto was paired with an Estate Bottled 2009 Chardonnay from Schweiger Vineyards.
Ooooo... what a cool presentation. It's a Lobster Risotto stack! This is the portion size that each guest at the culinary demo got to sample.
Risotto is made with Arborio rice, chicken stock, olive oil, and some seasoning!
Hey, look at that... the lobster tail is gray before it goes in the boiling water!
And then the lobster turns red after it's been cooked!
Each year, there's a different team to help make over 150 of the visiting chef's dish, so that the guests get to try a sample, as the chef creates the dish on-stage!
