Tables in Wonderland Discounts No Longer Offered at Dinner in Chefs de France

In a rather quite move, Epcot's Les Chefs de France is no longer offering Tables in Wonderland discounts during the dinner period. It would seem the TIW discounts can still be applied during lunch-menu dining times. Les Chefs de France is the second table service restaurant at Epcot to experiment with being removed from the popular Tables discount program. The Mexican pavilion's La Hacienda de San Angel (the outdoor restaurant, on the lagoon) also no longer honors the TIW discount for dinner.

Beginning August 1, 2014, Victoria & Albert’s will no longer accept the Tables in Wonderland discount card, and Epcot's Le Cellier and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare, the Polynesian's Ohana (dinner period), the Contemporary Resort's Chef Mickey’s, and the Magic Kingdom's Cinderella’s Royal Table will gain blackout dates (November 23-29, 2014; December 21-27, 2014; March 8-April 4, 2015; and May 31-June 20, 2015), where no discounts will be offered at those locations. The dates appear to be centered around peak holiday dining weeks, and are in addition to the usual holiday blackout dates, where no TIW discounts will be offered at any of the locations. (For a full listing, please visit the Tables in Wonderland site directly.)

Mickey’s Backyard BBQ at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be added to the list of locations accepting the Tables in Wonderland discount (as of July 31st, 2014) and three Animal Kingdom counter-service locations are now also offering the 20% discount, including Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, and Restaurantosaurus.

So what do you think? Is Tables in Wonderland still a good deal, or are too many of your favorite locations and dining periods being removed from the line up? Tell us what you think in the comments area below!
