Culinary Demos, Beverage Seminars, Food & Beverage Pairings and Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It Seminars for 2019

These low(er) cost programs are some of the more economical add-ons that you can book during the Epoct International Food and Wine Festival.

New for 2019 — all of the programs listed on this page will take place at the World ShowPlace Pavilion (between the Canada and UK pavilions via a "hidden" door next to the Joffrey's Coffee Booth).

Culinary Demonstrations ($19)

Cook up a new kind of cuisine by learning from a chef. During each 45-minute demonstration, chefs will impart kitchen wisdom while whipping up a special delicious dish (that is served with chilled water). Attendees can collect tips and tricks to sharpen their skills, as well as savor the exquisite flavors at each presentation.

Beverage Seminars ($19)

Sample select adult beverages at a 45-minute seminar that puts you in touch with your inner wine, beer or spirit connoisseur. Each day, sommeliers, cicerones and other beverage experts will share their extensive knowledge at these deliciously informative presentations.

Attendees like you can taste these popular potables while developing a new appreciation for state-of-the-art winemaking, brewing or distilling techniques.

Food & Beverage Pairings ($29)

Learn the fundamentals of flavorful food and beverage pairings. A chef will collaborate with a beverage expert to whip up a delicious pairing, all while imparting years of industry knowledge.

Pick up a few tips to try at home and—best of all—taste the demonstrated dish and beverage pairing!

Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! ($45)

Challenge your senses as you expand your culinary skills and beverage know-how!

Working side-by-side with chefs, beverage experts and other kitchen wizards, attendees can roll up their sleeves for a hands-on lesson that teaches one of many different culinary or beverage skills. Each 75-minute guided, interactive experience offers a multi-sensory smorgasbord—from whipping up sweet treats and savory sensations to exploring cocktails, spirits and wines.
