The Outer Rim is a little slice of Mad Men era airport lounge bar right in the middle of the Happiest Place on Earth. Well, I’m sure that’s not the company line, but that’s what it reminds me of... an snapshot of what modern would have looked like 30 years ago. Offering a view of Bay Lakes “other side”, a few of the chairs can be positioned so beverage imbibers can gaze out across the lake. There are actually quite a few specialty cocktails on the menu, along with some lounge-usual beer and wine selections. We’ve seen some beverages make their way from the lounge, to the nearby Contempo Cafe as well... although we don’t think the practice is encouraged.
