Steakhouse 71 is one of the few table service locations that serves three distinct dining menus — the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus all offer different fare, with a slight nod to steakhouse cuisine. The breakfast and lunch menus will be a little less expensive than the dinner menus... so if you really want to check the place out but are a little nervous about the dinner prices — lunch would be a good bet.

The hallway leading into Steakhouse 71 has a really great, rich, dark wood vibe with black and white archival photos from around the opening of the Magic Kingdom in 1971. The main dining areas though, have a modestly colorful abstract art vibe that is somewhat reminiscent of the art style found in the mid-70s Grand Canyon Concourse.

The food tends to fall into a collection of "not quite" categories — it's not quite a European gastropub, not quite American steakhouse, not quite Pub Grub or Sports Bar — but most like standard issue hotel restaurant food — with a little greasy spoon tossed in for good measure.
