The Steakhouse 71 Lounge looks very much like a new-age dental office coupled with all the the charm of an airport bar. Toss in six large screen LED TVs that tend to cast a blue tint everywhere and you've got one of the top three "missed opportunities in lounge concepts" on property. The space doesn't attempt to pick up on the rich, dark wood and black & white photo vibe of the hallway which leads you into the space, or the modestly colorful abstract art that the main dining room is speckled with.

The Steakhouse 71 Lounge does have it's own menu of small bite and tapas style food items along with several unique cocktails that you can only find at the Steakhouse 71 Lounge.

Reservations are not accepted, so this location is walk-up only and it's open between 12pm and 11pm. Late dinner tends to be one of the busier times, while any time between 1pm and 4pm it's the slowest.

The entrance to the Steakhouse71 Lounge and Restaurant are the same. Once you get to the end of the hall, the Lounge is straight ahead and on the right, while the dining areas are on the left The Steakhouse 71 Onion Rings are on the lounge menu and the lunch & dinner menus as an appetizer over on the restaurant side.

The Steakhouse71 Onions Rings are hand-breaded and served with Spicy Ranch Dipping Sauce. The Loaded Mac and Cheese is on the "Lounge Bites" menu. In addition to the Mac and Cheese, there's said to be Applewood-smoked Bacon and Jalapenos in the dish. On the right side of the main bar area at Steakhouse71's Lounge, there's a couple of nooks that cut deep into the wall. Both pretty much look identical and contain sofa-style seating along with a couple of chairs and low tables. The side nook areas at Steakhouse71 are quite spacious but are somewhat devoid of design style... unless you like a good curved wall. The light fixtures are kind of neat. This is one of two side nook seating areas in the Steakhosue71 Lounge. There's plenty of room to park a stroller or two in here. This is the main bar area at the Steakhouse71 Lounge. There's TVs on both sides of the center storage area. Most of the seating at the Steakhouse71 Lounge comes in the form of these high-boy chairs. There are some nooks on the far right side of this photo (out of the frame) that offer sofa-style seating. Here's a look at one of the side seating nooks at the back of Steakhouse71. There's three sofas and a couple tables and chairs in each of the two nooks. This large window wall separates the lounge area from the restaurant seating area at Steakhous71. These black and white archival photos are really cool to stop and look at. They are all (more or less) behind the scenes type photos from the early development days of the Magic Kingdom. I wish more of the lounge had this beefy, b&w, archival feel.
