World ShowPlace Premium Events for 2016

Located just past Canada and before the UK pavilions at Epcot, you will find the entrance to the World ShowPlace building. This is "the" premium location for Food and Wine Events. If you're walking down the World ShowPlace courtyard to enter the building for an event, you're about to experience the best that the Food and Wine Festival has to offer. The space will host 11 events during the 2016 Food and Wine Festival, possibly more if special Disney Chase/Visa events are added to the calendar. Most upgraded "seating" categories sell out well in advance, so if you want to go at one of those levels, don't wait much past the first day of booking.

Beverage Boot Camp Series : Exploring Wines the Mondavi Way

Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Robert Mondavi Winery at this special tribute event. Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson will take you on a special journey showcasing the inspirational story of the late Robert Mondavi while having the opportunity to taste wines that have continued to inspire the wine world today. The event will include a light reception after the wine tasting and seminar.

Beverage Boot Camp Series : Demystifying Bourbon the Jim Beam Way

Join us for an amazing experience and learn about the magic of Jim Beam Bourbon production though the eyes of a master distiller. This "deep dive" into the mystery of America's native spirit will fascinate the novice and thrill the aficionado. Learn how grains make their way into a bottle of Jim Beam starting with fermentation, distillation and finishing with aging in barrels. The event will include a light reception and classic Bourbon cocktail tasting.

Rockin' Burger Block Party

Come get your burger on! This food, drink and music event invites you to dine on a mouthwatering menu featuring burgers and party to some of the best music of the century! The Chefs have created an array of specialty sliders and accompaniments, paired with specialty cocktails, wine and beer. Find "your" burger, "your" drink, "your" music, and then vote on your favorite burger of the night! Each party will feature a special celebrity chef appearance! Maneet Chauhan will kick off the event on September 30th, Alex Seidel will host on October 14th, and Jehangir Mehta will join in the fun on November 11th.

A host extraordinaire leads the evening's festivities as guests eat, drink, and revel in true Disney style. While sampling delicacies from over 50 gourmet tasting stations, attendees can take in an evening of entertainment, specially created for that night. Whether it's music, dance, or dazzling magic, each night boasts ascots that ensnare and delight the senses, as the best of the culinary and show biz worlds come together in this sensational smorgasbord of food and fun!
