The Rockin' Burger Block Party takes place in the World ShowPlace Pavilion which is located on a walkway just past the Canadian Pavilion (but before the UK Pavilion) at Epcot.
The premium-level Nosh Pit seating guests got to enter the space 15 minutes early and had great looking reserved tables waiting for them.
Ahhh, the real star of the Rockin' Burger Block Party... the burger! In this photo, Chef Nanor's Middle-Eastern Burger takes center stage. It featured a Spiced Lamb and Feta Cheese Burger and was topped with Pickled Watermelon Rind and Za'atar Aioli on a Buttered Bun. It was served with a side of Arugula, Cucumber and Red Onion Slaw.
Many of the "spirits" could be sampled neat, or in predetermined cocktails at the various beverage stations throughout the room. Wine, beer and tequilas were present at the 2015 Rockin' Burger Block Party as were several "flavored" Vodkas.
Sampling items that you might not try otherwise is one of the fun things at most of the events held in the World ShowPlace Pavilion. Pictured here are the Class5 Hurricane Sangria and Black Gold (Blackberry Wine) from Florida Orange Groves Winery and Jim Beam's Black Cherry Bourbon.
You'll never know who's going to stop by the Rockin' Burger Block Party (well, you will because they're on the schedule)... here, Cake Boss Buddy Valastro stops by to chat about burgers, cakes, and what he's up to these days!
The Category #3 "General Seating" area at the Rockin' Burger Block Party is not "reserved" per say. All large tables are on a "grab them while you can" basis. However, the Rockin' Burger Block Party did not seem as crowded as a typical Party for the Senses (which take place in the same building).
Category #3 "General" area is made up of mostly large tables (i.e. if there's just two people in your party, you'll probably be sitting with other guests.). Tables are not assigned though. You're free to move around.
This is the Category #1 "Nosh Pit" seating area at the Rockin Burger Block Party. It is directly in front of the stage. All tables in this area are private and reserved (there's a little card with your party's name on it at each table.)
Each guest in the Nosh Pit area sees this great place setting when they arrive at their table. Everyone gets a "menu card" listing all of the food and beverage items available that night.
The reserved Nosh Pit tables at the Rockin' Burger Block Party are lit from within. In 2015 Nosh Pit guests were able to keep their stemless wine glass.
The burgers at the Rockin' Burger Block party are built to order, so if there's a particular topping you didn't like, you could ask for it to be left off "your" burger.
Chefs ready to build your burger at the Rockin' Burger Block Party.
The private Nosh Pit seating area also had it's own private dessert station where liquid nitrogen was being used to make "adult" ice cream floats! Only Nosh Pit (category #1) seating guests had access to this dessert station.
How do the beverage stations work? Just walk up and make a selection! Representatives for each beverage are on hand to answer questions as well. This is a great opportunity to try various wines and beers.
You could sample any or all of the 24 beverage offerings at the Rockin' Burger Block Party. Pictured here are the Valley of the Moneky Pinot Noir and Riesling.
Finger Food Stations were set up as "serve yourself" tables. Pictured here are some Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. Curry Dipping Sauce was available in a smaller serving dish to the side so you could add as much (or as little) as you wanted.
Items like these Vegetable Pot Stickers with Ponzu Sauce were set up a several "Finger Food Stations" around the room.
These Lentil Samosas with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce were very popular at a 2015 Rockin' Burger Block Party.
If you have ever wondered what a Spicy Sticky Pig Wing looked like... here you go!
Dessert stations were also set up as "serve yourself" tables around the room at the 2015 Rockin' Burger Block Party. Pictured here are a line of Valrhona Chocolate Ganache Brownies.
Here's a small plate with all of the "Finger Foods" from a 2015 Rockin' Burger Block Party. Front and center is a Sticky Pig Wing. Also pictured, a Lentil Samosa, Vegetable Pot Sticker, and Cheeseburger Spring Roll.
Chef Marianne's Sicilian Burger is a Pan-seared Branzino (European Seabass) Patty topped with Pecorino Cheese, Blood Orange, Raisin, Onion Jam and Dried Proscuitto on a Griddled Bun.
All of the burgers are built-to-order in these bamboo leaf boat serving trays, and come with their own "side item". Here's a photo of Chef Dale's Asian Cheese Burger with a side of Kimchi Slaw.
Chef Melissa's Thai Shellfish Burger combines Shrimp and Scallops in a burger with Spicy Thai Slaw and Cilantro Lime Mayo on a Sesame Bun.
The Chef Hanson Oklahoma Burger (that's the Hanson Brothers, if you were wondering), paired well with the "Mmmhops Pale Ale". The burger was served with a side of Spicy Pickled Cauliflower.
Chef Mikko's Bourbon Burger is a Bourbon BBQ Burger topped with Cheddar Cheese, Fried Onions and Chipotle Aioli on a Parker House Bun. It was served with a side of 24-hour Barrel Braised Beans.
There were soooo many different burgers at the Rockin' Burger Block Party! Here is another one of my favorites of the night... Chef Eggie's Mallorcan (Spain) Burger. It's a Coffee-crusted Beef Short Rib Burger topped with Smoked Gouda, Garlic Potato Strings and Sangria Ketchup on Medianoche Roll. (Yep, that's powdered sugar on top of the bun.)
The Mallorcan Burger was served with a side of Tumbet Salad and paired surprisingly well with Casa Noble's Resposado Tequila.
Chef Marianne's Sicilian Burger was served at the Rockin' Burger Block Party with a side of Pasta Caponata Salad.
Each night at the Rockin' Burger Block Party, guests could vote on their favorite burger. Chef Dale's Asian Cheese Burger won on a couple different nights in the 2015 event series.
Chef Reynold's Chicago Burger starts out with a Grass Fed Beef Patty topped with an All Beef Hot Dog, Relish and Havarti Cheese Sauce on a Poppy Seed Bun and served with a side of Bacon Potato Salad.
Chef Melissa's Thai Shellfish Burger combines a Shrimp and Scallop Burger patty topped with Spicy Thai Slaw and Cilantro Lime Mayo on a Sesame Bun. It was served with a side of Smoked Sea Salted Fried Edamame.
That's just a great looking Poppy Seed Bun! In addition to that, there's a Grass Fed Beef Patty topped with an All Beef Hot Dog. Along for the ride is a small dapple of Relish and a Havarti Cheese Sauce.
Chef Mikko's Bourbon Burger at the Rockin' Burger Block Party includes a Bourbon BBQ Burger topped with Cheddar Cheese, Fried Onions and Chipotle Aioli on a Parker House Bun.
At the Rockin' Burger Block Party, not all of the burgers are beef patty burgers. Chef Nanor's Middle-Eastern Burger starts out with a Spiced Lamb and Feta Cheese Patty topped with Pickled Watermelon Rind and Za'atar Aioli on a Buttered Bun. This one was served with a side of Arugula, Cucumber and Red Onion Slaw.
Here's a close up of one of the Sweet Station selections. The Valrhona Chocolate Ganache Brownie was a really good, dense, dark-chocolate brownie and the Ganache added an almost fudge-like quality to the dessert.
There are at least 24 different "adult" beverages to sample at the Rockin' Burger Block Party, including wines. Pictured here are the Wolftrap Syrah, the Dreaming Tree's "Crush", and Caparzo's Chardonnay Toscana.
The Rockin' Burger Block Party was not all about wine, (because sometimes you just want a beer with your burger). Pictured here are the Hanson Brother's Mmmhops Pale Ale, Landshark Premium Island Style Lager, a Casa Noble's Tequila Reposado.
There were quite a few flavored Vodkas around at the 2015 Rockin' Burger Block Party as well. These could be tasted neat or in a predetermined cocktail. Voli's Light Mango Coconut, Effen's Black Cherry and Vanilla Vodka, and several of Ciroc's Flavors were all fun to try. Not to be left out, Tequila made another appearance in the form of Maesto's Dobel Diamante.
How cool are those monkey bottles? Pictured here are The Valley of the Monkey's Pinot Noir, the Dreaming Tree's "Everyday" and another of The Valley of the Monkey's Riesling.
Cake Boss Buddy Valastro stopped by and was the featured "celebrity chef of the night" at the final Rockin' Burger Block Party of 2015.
The visiting celebrity chefs do a small 15 minute "interview" segment as part of the entertainment at the Rockin' Burger Block Party. Even though they're not all "burger people" per say... everyone loves a good burger, and so it was more of a free-form discussion.
The main stage in the World ShowPlace pavilion is high enough so that everyone from the reserved seating section to the general admission guests can easily see what's going on. If you're sitting way far away from the stage, you may want to stroll a bit closer.
The Nosh Pit guests get the closest view of the visiting celebrity chef. This photo was taken from the Category #2 seating area, which is behind the premium Nosh Pit seating. There's great views, for all guests though, even the general admin guests.
