Popular television chef Maneet Chauhan hosts a five-course meal at her new restaurant "eet".
Chef Maneet Chauhan Hosts a Meet-and-Greet Dinner Series at Disney Springs If you're a chef Maneet Chauhan fan, there's a meet-and-greet opportunity at Disney Springs that might interest you. If you don't know who Maneet Chauhan is, she's a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has appeared in several television shows, including a judge on the Food Network's Chopped, The Next Iron Chef, and Worst Cooks in American (she was a judge on that last one, and clearly not one of the participants).

Why is she showing up at Disney Springs? There's a new dining location at the popular Disney shopping complex called "eet by Maneet Chauhan" which (not coincidentally) features some of chef Chauhan's Indian inspired recipes in a counter service setting — items like tandoori chicken poutine, flatbreads and naans, a walking taco, build your own bowl options, and even her signature cheesecake topped with strawberries, saffron, and cardamon.

Chef Maneet Chauhan's most recent cookbook titled "Chaat" features over 80 Indian recipes and focuses on street food and local cuisine.

Jumping behind the checkout register to meet with guests just isn't practical, so the restaurant is (I can only assume) closing off a small special dining area where chef Chauhan will be preparing and presenting a sit-down, family-style, five-course meal that features her own brand of global fusion and Indian inspired cuisines.

The tickets are $195 per person (plus tax and processing fee — so that ends up being closer to $208), but in addition to the five-course meal, there will be autographed merchandise, a champagne welcome, and two cocktails/mocktails included with dinner.

The first date is already sold out, but there's four more dinners planned from now until mid-July 2024. I don't know if the menu will be the same for each of the meals, or if it will be different on each of the nights (my press-release got lost in the mail), but my gut feeling is, it will be very similar on each of the event dates.

The "Meet Chef Maneet Chauhan at eet" Dinner Dates are as follows…
  • March 19th, 2024 (sold out)
  • April 15th, 2024
  • May 13th, 2024
  • June 17th, 2024
  • July 22nd, 2024
The meet-and-greet dinner series starts at 5:00pm on each of the nights.

If you'd like to purchase tickets, I'd recommend getting them online, and the sooner the better. All of these might sell out a week or more before each of the nights. Click here to visit the official "eet" restaurant page to purchase tickets.
