Crottin or Crottin de Chavignol from France

This is Crottin Cheese or Crottin de Chavignol to be more precise. It's a goat cheese from France.

Much like Tequila is protected by the Mexican Designation of Origin statement, Crottin de Chavignol is protected by the AOC Seal… it must meet strict production criteria and be produced within a certain area around the town of Chavignol, France (aka Loire Valley).
