The Cape May Cafe dining area has a very bright, airy, saltwater taffy beachside feel which fits in nicely with the overall theme of Disney's Beach Club Resort. The dinner period is no longer a "character buffet" but it is still a buffet… a "Seafood and More Dinner Buffet" to be exact.
Cape May's New England-style setting lends itself to a seafood buffet quite well too. The buffet menu does change a bit from time to time because with seafood, what's "fresh and available" is most important, but there is usually an array of clams, mussels, crab legs, shrimp, ribs, chicken and more. Sides include American standards such as mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and (somewhat more unusual) chard and bacon.
Make sure you leave room for dessert! The bite sized dessert options here are usually pretty good and provide a fun memorable finish to a seafood buffet.
