Amare is a transitive verb in Italian which means (loosely) "to love"… it also happens to be restaurant at the Swan Reserve, a hotel that's part of the Swan and Dolphin complex. It features a casual, upscale Mediterranean environment and is open (usually) for three meal period each day. Reservations are recommended for dinner… but walk-ups can usually be accommodated for breakfast and lunch.
The lunch menu highlights ingredients that are commonly found in Mediterranean dishes, like seafood, citrus, olive oils and pasta — and leans more into the "salad, sandwich, and flatbread" theme, which is appropriate for lunch. While the lunch period is short, spanning from 11:30am until 2:00pm, it's a great time to visit if you want to just check the place out. The dinner menu at Amare is notably more expensive — while the breakfast menu at Amare tends to be a little more "American standard breakfast" than Mediterranean.
