Located near the "back" or causeway entrance of the Dolphin Hotel is "The Fountain" (so named because it's close to being under the main fountain feature just outside). It's an upscale American Diner of sorts that's open for lunch and dinner (with the same menu for both periods).

The layout here is a little whacky because there is a "Sweet Treats" counter off to the side of the location, with the main restaurant being so "open" to the space, you're not really sure if you "in" the restaurant. There are a couple of booths, mostly tables, and back-less bar seating.

The menu is mostly burgers with a hot dog and "other" type of sandwich tossed in here and there. Several soups and basic salads are also available. The real treat are the shakes, floats, sundaes and smoothies… there is an extensive menu (almost as long as the entree menu) for all the ice cream based dessert combinations that you would want to try.
