The Wave of American Flavors is the Contemporary Resort’s main table service dining location. The industrial “tube” walkway that leads to the restaurant opens up into a slightly less metallic interior that has been described as casual elegance. While it is nice, I think “elegance” is a bit of a stretch. Business casual modern is perhaps a better description.

Breakfast is served from 7:30am until 11:45am (which may change a bit seasonally), and while the menu is said to be American... there are a couple of very unique breakfast items on the menu that represent a slightly elevated take on early morning dining. There is also a Breakfast Buffet available, which contains more of the “American standard” type of breakfast items.

This is one of the few morning dining spots that offers unique items though, like the Citrus-Scented Brioche French Toast or the Wave’s signature Sweet Potato Pancakes. As usual, the things you can’t find everywhere, tend to be the real culinary treats.
