Shiki-Sai, located in Epcot's Japan Pavilion, provides an authentic izakaya experience. An Izakaya (in Japan) is more or less, an after-work pub, where guests can grab a drink and have some small-plate food items. In Japanese kanji characters, Izakaya means "stay drink place".
For old-time Epcot fans, "Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya" is located where "Tokyo Dining" used to be (second floor, lagoon side). I only that because it's still labeled "Tokyo Dining" on a couple Disney official maps here and there.
A cultural representative (i.e. your server) will guide you through a seasonal festival experience (aka, help those not familiar with Japanese cuisine figure out the menu).
Shiki-Sai is currently serving an all-day menu (lunch and dinner options are the same). Just know before you go — the menu isn't as simple as picking a starter, entree and dessert. There's many different paths to a meal at Shiki-Sai.
