The retail sample prices at SeaWorld's Seven Seas Food Festival have increased at a rate that's higher than the US inflation rate between 2019 and 2022.
Here's a look at the "Pacific Coast Market" booth in 2019 (left) and this year's "Gulf Coast Market" booth.
The Annual Passholder Sampler Lanyard has 18 "punches" or sample entitlements at the various food and beverage booths. The cost for the AP Sampler Lanyard is $85.20, which makes any item you purchase using the lanyard just $4.73.
If the slightly small Polynesian Market food booth looks familiar, that's because it's usually a "Nathan's Hot Dog" stand. I'm not sure what happened with Nathan's — as far as I know, Nathan's Hot Dogs are still offered over at the Captain Pete's Island Hot Dog location.
A plate of "Lu'au BBQ Lamb Ribs" with a pineapple BBQ sauce and served with Daikon Slaw from the Polynesian Market booth at SeaWorld's Seven Seas Food Festival.
The "Lu'au BBQ Lamb Ribs" are a new item on the 2022 Seven Seas Food Festival Menu.
The All-American Market booth is attached to the Voyager's Smokehouse location (just left of the main entrance to Voyager's).
This plate of Brisket Totchos features slowly smoked beef brisket mixed in with
some hot, crispy potato tots, topped with cheese and some Kraft/Heinz
Mayochup.
You can find these Brisket Totchos at the All-American Market booth, which is attached to the Voyager's Smokehouse building (near the front door).
This Frozen Lynchburg Lemonade is from the Cafe de Mar booth.
The Cafe de Mar kiosk is actually a permanent location near the start of the "food trail". You'll usually find frozen drinks and cheesecake cones here, no matter what festival is taking place.
The Lynchburg Lemonade combines Jack Daniel's, Lemonade, Triple Sec & Sprite.
The Caribbean Market is right across from Cafe de Mar and is the first "savory item" booth at the Seven Seas Food Festival this year.
This plate of "Montego Bay Spicy Shrimp" is available at the Caribbean Market booth.
The Montego Bay Spicy Shrimp is said to be "Gluten Friendly" and the menu board suggests that it also features Lime Aioli and Fried Sweet Plantains.
The "Caribbean Spicy Rum Cake" is supposed to feature Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Brown Sugar, and Rum Glaze.
This one really should have just been called a "Spice Cake with Whipped Cream". There was no indication that any amount of Jerry Spiced Rum, Brown Sugar, or Rum Glaze was used in making this little dessert.
