Family Style - All You Care to Eat
American
$65-99 per person*
The Scat Cat's Cafe is a seasonal offering/flex space that has been used for holiday 2015 dining, and will be used at various times over 2016 while renovations are taking place at some of the resorts other eateries. It's not clear if the menu will be family style for the space's entire limited run… or if the location's run… is even limited. The location was seating walk-ups and taking reservations "on-location" only during it's holiday 2015 period.

Located to the left of Scat Cat's Club Lounge, the Scat Cat's Cafe fills what used to be Bonfamille's at Port Orleans French Quarter. The space itself could be called French/Orleans modern, with the main dining area having a few industrial touches like exposed brick and metal beams in the rafters. A nicely lit faux patio and self-playing piano add softer touches to the main dining room. There is also a "large party" table area off to the side which also gets nice views of the patio and includes a built-in breakfront which holds a few wine bottles and plates. A third dining area the stretches along the front of the other two spaces is not as well appointed, and seems to come off feeling more like a conference room, but does feature some faux tin ceiling tiles, if you happen to remember to look up.

For the holiday 2015 period, Scat Cat's Cafe featured family-style (all you care to eat) dining that highlighted mostly American fare, with slight nods to New Orleans style cooking. The menu for the 2015 period was as follows…

• House Salad with Sweet Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette
• House-made Corn Bread

• Grilled Andouille Sausage
• Cajun-roasted Chicken
• Slow-cooked Pot Roast
• Vegetable Jambalaya

• Maque Choux
• Collard Greens
• Mashed Potatoes
• Mac and Cheese

• Deep South Bread Pudding with Banana-Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Standard beverage options were available, along with most of the specialty cocktails from the nearby Scat Cat's Club Lounge.
