Strawberry Compote, Chantilly Cream, and More

Strawberry Compote, Chantilly Cream, and More

While it might seem like the Chantilly Cream and Strawberry Compote are the main subject of this photo, my eyes are always drawn to those sample syrup bottles on the left.
The Noble Tonic 02 Maple Syrup (short bottle) is off the chart amazing Maple Syrup that costs around $30 for a 500ml bottle, while the taller bottle is Blis Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup— which costs even a little bit more. Either of those together with the Strawberry Compote was amazing!!!

Chantilly Cream (by the way), is basically whipped cream — but sweeter. Or at least that's how it was a hundred years ago. In modern times, that whipped cream you buy in a plastic tub really is "chantilly cream" because there's a lot of sugar in it and it's sweet. Traditionally, whipped cream was just aerated heavy cream with no sugar added.
