Featuring high archways and cathedral ceilings adorned with flags, the Norwegian castle setting provides a distinctive backdrop for meeting several of Disney's storybook princesses while you dine (they move around from table-to-table).
The format of the meal is now "family style" and "all you care to enjoy". I mention this in our tiny description here, because it's not always been that way. There had been a small "starters" type of buffet area — however, that area is now part of an on-stage kitchen. So now, the meal is served in three distinct courses, and you don't have to get out of your seat to go get any of the food. All three courses are brought to the table on large plates. Each person at the table gets smaller plates and can then decide how much or little they want to pull from the larger plate on the table. If you really like any of the items, from any of the courses, you can ask for more of that specific thing — and they'll bring it out to you.
(*) Price ranges listed are the average cost for one main entree and one soft beverage item, unless otherwise stated. There are many combinations of appetizers, deserts and drinks that will add to your final total. Many parks also use seasonal pricing systems which result in food and beverage costs increasing at peak times.
