In the afternoon, the brighter atrium-style dining area at Tony's has a very open, turn of the century vibe. As night falls, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant takes on a slightly more romantic tone with an interior dining area featuring a Lady and the Tramp centerpiece fountain, depicting the cute canines. A third outdoor actual patio area provide great views of the goings on in the Main Street USA courtyard (when it's being used for dining.)
Just because I said it "looks" slightly more romantic at night, doesn't mean that it's a quiet "romantic" place to have dinner. Tony's is usually always booked solid from 5pm through the rest of the night and — this is still the Magic Kingdom. There's many families with children and larger groups dining at all times — dining volume levels can be cafeteria-like. If you're looking for a slightly toned-down experience, try booking between 2pm and 4pm when things at Tony's are a little quieter.
Tony's used to have two separate lunch and dinner menus — but they're been running with one all-day-menu for several years now. Both Lunch and Dinner feature the same items at the same prices. The Italian themed food is more theme-park Italian and not specifically from any region.
