The Tambu Lounge is located on the second floor of the main Polynesian Resort building (it’s the same level that the monorail is on), and so near to 'Ohana’s, that some guests try and "check in" for dinner at the lounge. The space isn’t as well defined as some of the other lounges at various resorts and it’s pretty much open to the main walkway and lobby on two sides.

Being so close to 'Ohana and Kona Cafe, there’s a suspiciously similar (and quite large for a lounge) “lunch/snack” menu, which is kind of a mismatch of items from those two locations.  After typical lunch times, a more slimmed down menu of appetizers is available.

Most of the specialty drinks that are available at 'Ohana and Kona Cafe are available here at the lounge as well. However, some of the drinks served at Trader Sam's... are missing from the Tambu Lounge’s beverage menu.
