This is the courtyard entrance sign for the Regal Eagle Smokehouse. The "Eagle" on the sign, is "Sam Eagle" ... from the Muppets.
The North Carolina Chopped Smoked Pork Butt Platter features chopped pork butt topped with North Carolina Vinegar Sauce and is served with Garlic Toast. Most of the entrees also come with a "side item". Pictured here, are the beer-battered onion rings.
Walking up to the Regal Eagle Smokehouse from the west. There are a few outdoor seating options, and the main entrance is under the draped red and white curtain banner.
Walking up to the Regal Eagle Smokehouse from the east side, you'll have to make your way up a couple of steps into the main courtyard, which is where the on-stage smoker/grill is located, along with some outdoor seating options.
Just beyond the sign, in the center of the courtyard, there's a very large grill, where various meats are cooked, all on-stage!
There's a side window that acts as a bar/lounge (more or less), that only offers beverages — just to the left of the main entrance to the Regal Eagle. Several beers on-tap, wine, and some specialty cocktails are available.
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse utilizes a familiar "order/payment teller" system, with the food pickup area just behind. Each "teller/cast member" serves the left and right side of their booth. Once you place your order (and pay for it), you only have to take a few steps forward, and pick up your food.
Not everything about the interior of the Regal Eagle is "Muppet" related. On one wall, I found this reprint of a drawing, depicting the 1876 International Exposition at Philadelphia, PA.

There's an on-stage wood fired grill at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
The on-stage wood fired grill is where the meats (and some veggies) served at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse are barbecued.
