Buying food and beverages at the festival a la carte or out of pocket means that you pay the price that's posted on the menu board near each food booth. While you will still get an Annual Passholder discount, sales tax and a SeaWorld surcharge fee is added to every order. At the 2024 festival, this Pulled Pork Sandwich is listed as being $11.99. Plus the 7.75% sales tax and plus SeaWorld's 5% surcharge fee, that comes out to $13.52 — for this one sandwich.

SeaWorld has a great festival Sampler Lanyard system. The Sampler Lanyards are these little plastic cards that are attached to a lanyard (rope) that you can wear around your neck.

After the state sales tax and SeaWorld's surcharge fee, the actual cost of this slider is $13.52 — but with a 12 punch Sampler Lanyard, (which gets you 12 samples for $85.73) — the cost of the same slider calculates out to being just $7.14. That's around 46% less than paying full price for the items one at a time.

This is one of the beverage only booths at Bands, Brew and BBQ. They're usually located right next to a larger food booth.

The covered area next to Sesame Street Land is pretty much called the Beer Garden no matter which festival is going on — but they do change the sign each time... making this the Bands, Brew, and BBQ Beer Garden.

Between Sesame Street Land and the Wild Arctic attraction, there's a large seating area that's covered with a canvas canopy. This type of cover allows for a nice breeze to move through the seating area.

There's a medium sized stage set up near the Sharks complex that can host local live bands and a line dancing show with a DJ that spins some high energy dance music.

There was a pretty great line dancing routine over near the Sharks complex, which included an interactive segment for small children that wanted to try out some line dancing moves.

Here's a wider look at the small performance stage that's set up near the Flamecraft Bar. This location kind of provides music for both the bar, and acts as a starting point of sorts, for the food and beverage trail.

There's other festival displays set up here and there between the food booths. On the left is one of the Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles that was on display and on the right, there's a small stage set up near the Flamecraft Bar for local musicians.

This Harley-Davidson® display was located over near the entrance to Infinity Falls. It might be a flex space of sorts though, featuring different things over the course of the festival.

There's usually a couple of branded tap pull handles visible at each of the Bands, Brew and BBQ booths. If there's a beer on the menu board that you don't see a pull handle for, it usually means they're pouring from a can or bottle.

Here's a quick look at four different items, from three different food booths — four of them have the same pickled pink onions. Two have cilantro. Two have the same small pickles. Three have whole or sliced jalapeños. This could mean (for example) that pickled pink onions are synonymous with Kansas, Carolina, and Texas BBQ. Or it could mean that SeaWolrd Culinary just decided to make a giant batch of pickled onions, and told each booth to add a couple to everything you hand out. Did it taste bad? No. Is it authentic regional BBQ? No.
