Here's a Festival Map for the 2018 Beir Fest at Busch Gardens, Tampa.
There's a large sign posted over the entrance to the Beir Fest area. This is (more or less) the transition area from the park's Morocco area to the Bird Gardens area. The special events building (the Gwazi Pavillion) is located down this walkway, but is not used for Bier Fest.
Hey cool — stilt walkers! These entertainment cast members were walking up and down the festival area ... in rotation with a couple of cast members that spray water on you as part of some "cool down" crew? I don't know, I'm just calling it like I see it.
Here's the Bier Festival Welcome Kiosk. It's a great place to purchase a Sampling Lanyard and pick up a brochure with additional information. You can also purchase two additional experiences here, a Wine Tasting and a Bourbon Tasting activity.
There's a giant beer board to the right of the Welcome Kiosk that lists all the beer that is available at the various booths.
This is the size of the craft beer samples. It's a 7 oz cup. Pictured here is a Schoenhofer Grapefruit Beer.
Each booth has clear, easy to read lettering above it, so you know where you're at.
We really like the style of this food booth! It's the Hops & Handhelds booth which is located very near the Welcome Kiosk at the start of the Bier Fest trail.
The Truffle Mac n' Cheese Fritters come with a Truffle Aioli dipping sauce.
Here's one of the Mac N' Cheese Fritters opened up!
The Reuben Croquettes with Mustard & Honey Dipping Sauce are really creamy on the inside.
The Reuben Croquettes contained all the same elements that are in a Reuben sandwich... Corned beef, a swiss cheese, sauerkraut and a little russian dressing.
Another one of the nameplates on top of the food booths. Each booth was serving up something that loosely tied into the name. For example, one of the beers available here is the Trekker Farmhouse Ale, it's a grisette-style unfiltered ale featuring malted barley from Canada and hops from New Zealand — even though the beer itself is brewed in Central Florida.
No babies, you can't have a beer! It's a good idea to have your ID with you. If you're even close to looking like you're under 21, you will be carded. Just saying.
The "Seasonally Inspired" booth is number 12 on the map, and is a little off the beaten path — but definitely worth finding.
Yum! Here's a photo of the Watermelon & Heirloom Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese, Micro-Cilantro, and Lemon Vinaigrette — it's just one of four amazing food samples at the "Seasonally Inspired" booth.
These kiosks have such great names! Here's the "Best of the Wurst" booth, that features all-things "Bratwurst".
Here's a photo of the Bratwurst Sandwich on a Pretzel Hot Dog Roll from "The Best of the Wurst" food booth.
It's so pretty! The Bratwurst Sandwich on a Pretzel Hot Dog Roll pairs well with just about any craft beer.
