Teppan Edo is a second restaurant located on the upper level of Epcot's Japan pavilion (Tokyo Dining being the other), and presents authentic Japanese cuisine through the communal ritual of Teppan-yaki-style cooking, where skillful chefs chop and stir-fry dishes on grills at your table. The environment is a bit more compartmentalized, with a few grilling tables in each room, but this helps to keep the experience a bit more personal, even though there is seating for six or more at each table.
Served with udon noodles and steamed rice main entrees include a selection of chicken, steak and seafood. Teriyaki chicken and tempura are also available. In addition to standard beverages, various hot and cold sake and sake-based cocktails are available, as are imported Japanese beer and a wine list.
For dessert, a chocolate ginger cake and green tea pudding are on the menu, along with a traditional, freshly brewed cup of Matcha green tea.
