SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is a family fun (i.e., not scary) event that takes place during the daytime hours on most weekends between the start and end date (and also on Halloween Day). The main activities are a Trick-or-Treat Trail, some photo opportunities with various charters like a mermaid, a pirate, and the pumpkin patch queen, a buffet style "Shamu and Crew Spooktacular Breakfast", a special Halloween version of the Sesame Street Parade, two story time areas (one with Big Bird and the other in a pumpkin garden), a scarecrow dance party, a cookie decorating activity, and even a scavenger hunt.
- A SeaWorld trick-or-trick bag is required for the candy trail, but the purchase price is relatively low.
- The Shamu and Crew Spooktacular Breakfast is a paid character breakfast and reservations are highly recommended.
- The Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Halloween Cookie Decorating activities also require an additional purchase, but the costs are relatively low.
- Guests are welcome to wear costumes, as long as they adhere to the park's normal dress-code. Please visit the SeaWorld official website for additional guidance.
