I was delighted that a time park actually offered an OATMEAL RAISAN COOKIE! They were perfectly delicious and large as well. A golden brown, thick, well baked, perfectly spiced oatmeal raisan cookie! The hot chocolate was also delicious and just hot enough to sip with the cookie. It was one of the coldest Florida night with a north wind blowing. The outdoor, on the lake seating in cold heavy wrought iron chairs weren’t inviting. I asked if I could sit inside in a small area behind the cookie and hot cocoa lime but I couldn’t get an answer. I saw one other family being brave sitting inside so I packed up my cookies and hot cocoa and got to sit more comfortably out of the north wind. They were kind enough to refill my hot cocoa sealed Christmas sippy cup. I guess the fireworks were cancelled because of strong winds but after patiently waiting 20 minutes outside on the porch in the cold…I had enough and along with others..walked out. The park has speakers..why didn’t anyone make any kind of announcement? All in all I enjoyed the Christmas treat of cookies and hot cocoa.
