The "Rebel Hangar" is a Special Event Experience that takes place during
and between Star Wars Weekends 2015, at Hollywood Studios.
Waiting to get into the Rebel Hangar Experience.

Waiter... there's a spaceship in my drink.
The Lightsaber Bites at the Rebel Hangar are hand-dipped and corn-battered Knockwurst sausages and served with house-made chips and honey-mustard sauce. Perfect for sharing!

A close-up of one of the Thermal Detonators at the Rebel Hangar. The pork wing is fully coated in a spicy piquillo pepper sauce and served on a dollop of coleslaw.
Look who stopped by for dinner, it's Chewbacca!
There were some outside tables for the Rebel Hangar Experience. While there was no set "rule" these may have been used for walk-ups, while most guests with reservations were being taken inside.
The Cantina (bar) at Hollywood Studio's "Rebel Hangar Experience" during Star Wars Weekends.
This is just one of the many rooms in the Rebel Hangar that received a Star Wars overlay.
This is another room that has been decked out with Star Wars props. Those great models are in fact, attached to the table (so you can't take one with you).
There are only four tables in the front room in the Star Wars Rebel Hangar.
The largest of the indoor dining areas also happens to be where a self-serve soda machine is located. Because the Rebel Hangar overlay features full table service (waiters and waitresses) the soda machine has been covered up with Star Wars props.
Each table has a centerpiece. Some are character figures, and some are spacecraft, like this great looking At-At. The detail on the models is amazing!
This Star Wars model was on a walkway ledge leading to one of the larger indoor dining areas in the Rebel Hangar, A Star Wars Experience at Hollywood Studios.
Another incredibly detailed Star Wars ship model in the Rebel Hangar.
Some of the many posters that adorn the interior of the Rebel Hangar.
The Han Solo model at this table in the Rebel Hangar is completely possible, like a small stop-motion model. The base (and Han) were bolted to the table.
Boba Fett and Boba Fett. The detailing on the small table top models is stunning.
A close up of the Boba Fett model. There are similar character or vehicle models on each of the indoor tables in the Rebel Hangar.
An X-Wing pilot was the centerpiece on my table at the Rebel Hangar Experience, which is part of Hollywood Studio's Star Wars Weekends.
There were Tie-Bomber Pilots on the table next to a giant Tie-Fighter wing that was hanging on the wall.
All the table top models were completely poseable. They were bolted to the table so you can't take one with you, but all the other joints moved, so you could turn his head, raise his gun, twist the hips and knees. A really great model to be sure.
This R2-D2 unit was a table top center piece at one of the larger tables in the Rebel Hangar at Hollywood Studio's Star Wars Weekends.
The entrance to the Rebel Hangar features and automatic sliding door, pictured here on the left.
The Imagination Movers jumpsuits before they went "blue".
This Tie Fighter Solar Array Wing may not quite be life-size, but its pretty close. The detail on the wing itself is amazing as well.
Goodbye Chewey! Thanks for a great meal at the Rebel Hangar!
