I know the Viva la Música festival is going on – because this sign says Viva la Música!

Viva la Música takes place in three zones... a Fiesta Zone where there's live entertainment, La Placita (Zone) which is an open-air marketplace featuring local vendors and crafts for sale, and the Live Concert Zone... located in the Nautilus Theater.

This is the Shrimp Mofongo item they were serving at one of the Viva La Música food booth. The tapas-sized portions mean you can try a couple different items before getting too full.

The Shrimp Mofongo included five sautéed shrimp in a Creole sauce with Mofongo de Yuca. The "yuca" is a root vegetable native to South America.

The Shrimp Mofongo was a really great "food festival" type item. For starters, it tasted great... but it also combined a couple of items that you might not ordinarily eat every day.

There were a total of five shrimp on the "Shrimp Mofongo" item. The Creole sauce combines a tomato base with sautéed onions, celery, and green bell peppers — and a little heat from a spice blend.

A typical setup for one of the food-based festivals at SeaWorld include a main kiosk (center) like this one, with a "order and payment" register to one side (right). The menu board where you can see what the booth is offering and how much everything costs is to the right of the payment register.

This is one of the beverage-only booths at the Viva La Música festival. Usually the beverage stations have their own payment register inside the booth.

The Viva La Música food booth that's directly in front of the Nautilus Theater is one of the "main" booths of the festival, and it's right in the middle of all the action.

This Margarita booth is directly across from the Nautilus Theater – and is pretty popular.

Here's a look at one of the smaller beverage only booth at SeaWorld's Viva La Música festival.

A third food booth is located near the end-corner of the Nautilus Theater leading down the path to the Infinity Falls attraction.

A fourth food booth is located closer to Infinity Falls. We're kind of getting to the end of the Viva La Música food booth trail at this point. (Or the beginning I guess... if you're walking in from the other direction.)

This Tequla Tasting booth is one of my favorites. I think more of the SeaWorld festival booths should look like this. Such a great design for a kiosk.

There's usually a Tequila Tasting station somewhere at the Viva La Música festival. The kinds and brands available change a little from year-to-year, but if you've ever been in SeaWorld and said to yourself "boy, I could use a shot of Tequila" – here's your chance!

This is the Marketplace (or La Placita) area at Viva La Música (a few hours before anyone set up tables). Local local artisans set up tables and feature latin-themed, handcrafted items.

This large stage is at the heart of the Fiesta Zone and features live bands or DJs at various times throughout the day.
