The Satu'li Canteen is located in the new Pandora/Avatar section of Animal Kingdom. It is a fairly large counter service restaurant with about 60% indoor and 40% outdoor seating. Satul'li is currently using melamine (plastic) plates that have a earthen-natural appearance and real metal flatware! The silverware, napkins and self-serve beverage dispensers are located indoors, along one side wall. The seating appears to be somewhat communal, meaning the tables are pushed together for large groups of 10 or more. While the seating is supposed to lend itself to the "mess hall" nature of the Satu'li, it does create a bit of confusion. Multiple parties are intended to sit at the same table.

The breakfast menu for this counter service dining location is somewhat like "American fast-food" cuisine with slightly sci-fi embellishments thrown in here and there. For example, the "Breakfast Steamed Pod" is kind of a Baozi or Bao Steamed bun (found in various Chinese cuisines) stuffed with Americana breakfast favorites such as scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and spinach.
