Dining Events Around World Showcase (2016) The "Festival Dining Events in Epcot" is the name given to a series of events that take place in various restaurant locations around World ShowCase (the countries). Participating for the 2016 Food and Wine Festival are France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and Morocco.

France Pavilion : Parisian Breakfast
Bubble away with mimosas, tuck into just-baked baguettes, rich brioches and golden croissants. Sip away at unlimited coffee-make it "au lait!" - or enjoy tea, steaming cups of chocolate chaud (French-style hot chocolate) and orange juice too. At this chic buffet, the hand-shaped baguettes have been made from scratch. Try them fresh from the oven with butter and Bonne Maman confiture (fruit preserve) - it's what the French call a tar tine. In the mood for something savory? Find flavorful meats and cheeses that are a must-do. Pain au Chocolat? Slice of brie? Just say "Qui!" Why not try a little of everything? France Pavilion : French Family Meal Traditions
This year, the French chefs from Monsieur Paul restaurant are bringing back the French Family Meal and will take you on a trip for your taste buds back home to France! Each week one of their French chefs will prepare a favorite meal from childhood, just like their mothers and grandmothers made. Created with the timeless technique of traditional Le Creuset cast iron pots for a rustic, family-style meal, these masterful dishes are expertly and generously paired with the perfect wines by the dining room managers. The French family meal traditions are so glorious, they were recognized as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010. Each participant will leave with the "Best of Paul Bocuse" book with his greets recipes step-by-step in pictures, to start their own family traditions! France Pavilion : The Parisian Afternoon
C’est merveilleux… indulge in heavenly morsels from Monsieur Paul, the culinary jewel of the France pavilion.

From finger sandwiches and savory mignardises to melt-in-your-mouth macarons and an assortment of delicate petit fours, foodies and Francophiles alike will feel as if they’ve been whisked away to a dreamy bistro along la Rive Gauche. Take a respite from your Epcot adventures to relax, sip unlimited mimosas and nibble our magnifique medley of treats—it’s a Parisian-style afternoon that’s ooo-la-la-luscious! Italy Pavilion : Italian Food, Wine vs Beer Pairing at Via Napoli
Via Napoli is proud to host a pairing of five Italian food courses with both beer and wine. All beverage have been selected by the Chef to complement his style of authentic Italian dishes, and they have been chosen for their robust flavor, as well as their heritage. The wine vs beer pairing will be held at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, which will transport you to an Italian villa like those of Naples, Italy. (Copy provided by Disney.)

Italy Pavilion : Italian Regional Food and Wine Pairing Luncheon
This wine paring event will showcase five courses, two of which will feature white truffle, paired with a variety of regional Italian wines. These wines have been selected to pair perfectly with freshly prepared Italian dishes. The pairings will be presented in Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, which has been modeled after an authentic rustic Italian wine cellar. (Copy provided by Disney.)

Japan  Pavilion : The "Hibachi" Experience: "The Heart of Miyazaki"
Enjoy the interactive performance of our talented Teppan Chefs while they prepare foods from the Miyazaki Prefecture, famous for it's Wagyu Beef and located in southern Japan bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the east coast and mountains to the west. Japan Pavilion : Japanese Craft Beet Tasting: "Izakaya Style"
Discover how the Land of the Rising Sun masters micro-brewing to complement the flavors of 6 traditional dishes.

At this unique pub-style, or Izakaya, mid-day tasting, Guests will learn the difference between beer varieties as well as growing trends amongst Japan’s top breweries. Delight in a flight of authentic craft beer—with flavors ranging from crisp and light to dark, malty and sweet—paired with regional fare in an idyllic, outdoor setting. Japan Pavilion : Tokyo Paring : "Umami" (The Sixth Sense)
Sample exquisitely prepared meals that showcase the Land of the Rising Sun’s creative presentation.

Itadakimasu! Amidst a modern setting, Guests will dine on 3 traditional courses perfectly paired with sake and other thirst-quenching libations. The authentic menu exemplifies a seamless fusion of harmony, culture and culinary art—including Wagyu beef, sea urchin, lobster tail, King Crab legs tempura with salt Koji cheese and sushi made with naturally fermented ingredients and sauces.

Mexico Pavilion : Mexican Tequila Lunch
Savor south-of-the-border cuisine paired with the fiery taste of tequila!

During an authentic, gourmet 4-course Mexican meal, Guests can sample a diverse range of tequila selections carefully chosen to complement the spices found in these unique, regional-themed dishes. Prepare for an epicurean adventure that explains the history of tequila and the subtle nuances found in this series. Morocco Pavilion : Mediterranean Food & Wine Pairing
Discover the magic of Mediterranean dining with a specially created menu crafted by expert Chefs. Guests will be treated to cuisine from both land and sea. Each new plate is paired with carefully selected wines and serves as a showcase of unique Mediterranean and Moroccan inspiration.
